Our physician investigators are board certified in Allergy, Asthma, Immunology and Internal Medicine or Pediatrics. Our center strives to conduct the highest quality clinical research ensuring and protecting the rights and safety of all participating patients. Our dedicated physicians and coordinators are experienced in conducting clinical trials in asthma, COPD, allergic rhinitis, hives, and immunological disorders. Our center has conducted clinical trials for over 40 years and has contributed to the approval of new treatments for respiratory and allergic diseases.
The Importance of Research:
The Bernstein Clinical Research Center, LLC has been conducting clinical research studies since 1969. Our Center has conducted over 900 clinical trials in adult and pediatric patients and we have contributed to the development of new therapies for asthma, seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, eczema, hives, atopic dermatitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), Hereditary Angioedema (HAE), chronic cough and sublingual immunotherapy. Our center has studied new devices and delivery systems for medications that are currently used and available on the market today!

WHO ARE WE?
Dr. David I. Bernstein and Dr. Jonathan A. Bernstein
- Both of our doctors are board certified in clinical research and Internal Medicine of asthma, allergy, and immunology. They are both on the teaching faculty at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and have published hundreds of clinical research articles in medical journals. Both physicians have extensive experience as Principal Investigators and have active oversight on all clinical research studies.
Sherry Evans, CNP
- Sherry is an experienced family nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience working in the field of clinical research. She is an investigator and also works as a research coordinator on difficult and complicated trials.
Clinical Research Staff
- Our staff is highly trained and experienced. We have three certified clinical research coordinators (CCRC) through the Academy of Clinical Research Professionals. All coordinators and Investigators have completed the CITI training program from the University of Cincinnati. The study research team includes a nurse practitioner, a former critical care nurse, a registered respiratory therapist and other well trained medical professionals.
