Dear Fellow Allergist,
Since 2008, I have directed the annual North American Survey of Systemic Reactions (SR) to Allergen Immunotherapy (AIT) among AAAAI and ACAAI member allergists, co-sponsored by the AAAAI and ACAAI. Each year we send a brief survey to hundreds of participating Allergy practices, allowing us to estimate systemic reaction rates associated with subcutaneous AIT as well as SRs associated with SLIT. Through the survey, we have tracked local and systemic infections after SCIT injections. The data from these surveys have resulted in eight publications allowing us to identify the safest clinical practices for mitigating risk of life-threatening SRs to SCIT.
IF YOUR PRACTICE HAS NOT PARTICIPATED TO DATE IN THE ANNUAL SURVEY, PLEASE COMPLETE THE FORM BELOW AND WE WILL CONTACT YOU SOON ON HOW TO GET STARTED:
You will be contacted soon by Karen Murphy Berendts (KMurphy@bernsteincrc.com), the Project Coordinator of the Annual Survey, who will explain all the details on how your practice can actively participate in the annual AIT Safety Survey.
Thank you,
